Accommodations: Eighteen elegantly furnished Victorian
rooms and suites. All accommodations include a private bath, cable TV,
telephones and high-speed wireless Internet. Some have whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, private balconies and Mississippi River views. The
Inn has an elevator, a nighttime security system and off-street parking as well as a restaurant.
 Standard, deluxe, whirlpool and fireplace rooms are available. The Thomas
Jefferson Suite features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining alcove and living room.
Breakfast: A delicious complimentary hot breakfast is served to all our guests in
the Morning Room Monday through Saturday, which consists of a hot entrée, fresh cut
fruits, home-baked pastries, toasting breads, our house granolas, chilled fruit juices,
and our special blend coffee. On Sundays, our guests enjoy the lavish breakfast buffet at

Kingsley Inn may offer a variety of discounts at certain times of the year and
special packages so be sure to ask for information about any that may
apply to you. Discounts are not offered during special events or premier weeks (4th of July Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Memorial Weekend, etc….).
Group
rates are available during the off-season only.
Occupancy Ordinances: City ordinance requires hotels to limit the number of guests per room. Room
rates are applicable, the normal number of guests per room allowed is 2 persons unless the room is equipped to handle additional guests, which
has to be cleared at the time of reservation. We charge $15.00 per additional guest. The exception to the 2 guests per room is the Thomas Jefferson
Apartment, where the rate is applicable for 4 guests.
Payment: American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa are
accepted.
Restrictions: No pets. No smoking (smoking will result in $100.00 added to room charges for additional cleaning).
 Cancellation
Policy: The Kingsley Inn has a 10-day cancellation policy (one week during the low season mid November to end of March), enabling guests to cancel reservations up to
10 days before occupancy after which the
guest credit card will be charged the full value of the reservation. Advance non-refundable pre-payment is required for special packages and multi room
reservations. Refund will be given only if the booked room(s) can be re-booked to another party, the refund will be for the amount less $25 per room.
Lunch/Dinner: We recommend our award-winning nationally recognized restaurant,
Alpha’s on the Riverfront (319) 372-1411.
Alpha’s is a full-service restaurant
with lounge located right off the lobby, and open daily. Alpha’s reflects the
Inn’s character, with accents and trinkets of yesteryear. Alpha’s Banquet Room
can accommodate larger groups for special events and meetings.
Special Events & Corporate Meetings: The Morning Room,
Board Room or Parlor may be rented
for intimate gatherings, weddings , showers, receptions, and private parties. Small
business meetings for up to 30 persons can also be accommodated. The Inn features a
private hospitality suite, copier and fax machine, catered lunches, and provisions for
audio-visual equipment and refreshments during your meeting. Alpha’s Banquet Room can
accommodate larger groups.
Shuttle Service: Shuttle service from Airport and Train Station can be arranged at cost. |
